Privacy Policy
What we collect
Poppins is designed to work without an account. To provide the service we process:
- An anonymous device identifier — a random ID generated on your device, used only to track your free-pack quota and your Pro entitlement. It is not linked to your name, email, or Apple ID.
- The prompts you type — sent to our servers solely to generate your sticker pack.
- The photos you choose — transmitted for generation only. Photos are not stored on our servers beyond the time needed to produce your pack.
- Subscription status — provided by Apple when you purchase Poppins Pro. We never see your payment details.
We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, or location. If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to include.
How we use it
We use this data to generate your sticker packs, enforce free-tier limits, unlock Pro features, and keep the service reliable. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your prompts or photos for advertising.
Third-party processing
Sticker images are generated using OpenAI's image API. Your prompt and, if you use photo mode, your chosen photo are shared with OpenAI solely to produce your stickers, and are handled under OpenAI's API data-usage policies. Payments and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID.
Where your packs live
Finished sticker packs are stored on your device. Our servers keep only the minimal metadata needed to run the service, such as your anonymous device ID and quota counters.
Your choices and rights
You can delete any pack at any time, and revoke photo access in iOS Settings whenever you like. To request deletion of the server-side data linked to your device ID, email support@poppinstick.uk.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, and objection under the GDPR; our legal bases are performance of a contract and legitimate interest in operating the service. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know and to delete under the CCPA; we do not sell your personal information.
Children
Poppins is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
